For the last 2 ½ plus years I have shared the challenges and responsibilities of being on TLQMA’s Board of Directors with Mark Reider and Tom Hansen. I have been a firsthand witness to their dedication and sacrifice to our community and our members. Throughout all our trials and tribulations, I have seen their strengths and methodical, even-keeled behavior firsthand. We analyze, we debate, but we NEVER argue. We have been a team on a mission to see this community grow and prosper. Their focus has always been on the future, not the past, and the best solutions to move the community forward.
When Debbie Betts and I ran our last campaign, we chose the slogan of Consistency, Continuity, and Commitment. Nothing has changed with that sentiment. Simply put, without Mark’s and Tom’s leadership, we would not have the lush, green golf course we have today. With our restaurant well into its restoration, there is still so much left to do to move this community into its second 20 years. We need to keep the team in place and give them the opportunity to complete the project they have worked so hard for.
As President of TLQS, Elaine Brown has led the organization through years of successful community service and now has the responsibility of managing it’s dissolution. Through her service she has demonstrated a dedication to our community as well as the maturity and talent for leadership that we need in TLQMA’s Board of Directors.
Please join my wife Sandy, and me, in supporting and voting for Mark Reider, Tom Hansen, and Elaine Brown for the HOA Board of Directors in the upcoming election.

Both Deborah and I are throwing all of our support behind TLQMA Board nominees Mark Reider, Tom Hansen, and Elaine Brown. It is imperative we have continuity with the Board as we have come so far since the Spring. We are well aware of the time and effort it has taken to get to this point and we are impressed by how much these three individuals have given back to all of us community members. They bring an unwavering commitment to the community and have the experience and perspective to make tough choices when necessary. Please join us in thanking them for all they have done for us and ensuring they get the votes necessary to complete the project as they are in the best position to do exactly that!

I have had the honor and privilege of working with Mark Reider and Tom Hansen as fellow board members for the past 2.5 years. I can say without a doubt that Trilogy would not be where it is today, without the dedication, expertise and commitment that both Mark and Tom have demonstrated, and I have the utmost respect for both of them. We all know what our community was facing with a dead, bankrupt golf course. With Mark’s expertise in negotiating contracts, HOA lending, respectful and professional leadership and Tom with his expertise in finance this entire board was able to turn this around and we are now able to see the unbelievable transformation of our new Trilogy La Quinta golf course.
I have also had the pleasure of working with Elaine Brown during her tenure with our TLQS Board of Directors and have witnessed her professionalism and ability to manage this program. Elaine has been on the TLQS Board since 2017 and served as President from 2019-2024. Her dedication to a program designed to give back to our community through grants to numerous charities within the Coachella Valley is a testament to her commitment that she will bring to the TLQMA Board.
As we celebrate our new golf course and restaurant, it’s imperative that our Board of Directors be able to continue to develop our relationship with Blue Star while ensuring fiscal oversight and provide our residents with the premier experience that only a Trilogy Community can offer through “Stability ~ Integrity ~ Leadership”.

My husband Pat and I fully support the candidacies of Elaine Brown, Tom Hansen, and Mark Reider for the upcoming election of HOA Board of Directors. I previously worked with Elaine during her tenure as President of the TLQS (Trilogy La Quinta Community Services) board. Under her leadership from 2018-2024, TLQS supported the community by approving a grant to fund dust control around our Trilogy community and projects like the landscaping of Ave 60. It was also responsible for millions of dollars of grants that have benefitted charities throughout the Coachella Valley.
Over the past seven years I have witnessed, as a member of the finance committee, the hard work and dedication of Tom Hansen and Mark Reider in their current and past capacities of committee members and board directors on projects that move this community forward. From the sports court’s conversion, the Coral Mountain remodel to the recent purchase and renovation of the golf course, they have worked diligently to make our community better.
It is important we as a community strive to maintain our status as the premier fifty-five and over community in the valley. I was a former Board member from 2015-2022 and I believe that voting for Elaine Brown, Tom Hansen and Mark Reider will ensure that we maintain the momentum that will enhance and protect our community in the future.

My time on the TLQMA Board of Directors has allowed me to work closely with both Mark & Tom. They are consummate professionals with strong expertise in finance, which is critical as our association integrates BlueStar operations into our community. Both Mark & Tom are problem-solvers who approach each challenge and opportunity with clear eyes rather than preconceived notions. After two years of hard work bringing our golf course back to life, now is not the time to rest on those accomplishments. Continuity, vision and leadership are required. I heartily endorse both colleagues for re-election. While I have not worked directly with her, Elaine capably chaired the TLQS board, demonstrating her ability to deal with competing funding requests and a diversity of viewpoints.

I have had the great honor and privilege to work with Mark Reider over the past year. I have never come across a more dedicated, conscientious, thorough and respectful member of the Board of Directors. And yes, he does have a sense of humor. He is always prepared, willing to listen and well organized. His willingness to sacrifice much of his personal time to continue to lead our community is a testament to the man I have come to admire.
Tom Hansen has added a great perspective in the short time he has been on the Board. Though his background is in finance, Tom adds a practical approach, common touch and common sense to the discussion of issues which the Board will continue to face as we move Trilogy forward.
Elaine Brown is just special. It is evident that her charitable work with TLQS can continue to advance the good reputation the people of Trilogy enjoy with our neighbors both within and outside our gates when she is elected to the Board.
It is with no hesitation that I endorse all three of these candidates who are willing to continue to dedicate their time and energy to our community’s wellbeing.

We would like to express our whole-hearted endorsement of Mark Reider, Tom Hansen and Elaine Brown for the HOA Board. The Board worked tirelessly over a period of years to negotiate the purchase of the golf course and restaurant, with Mark playing a pivotal role in the very complex negotiations. We certainly would not have faulted the incumbents if they decided to let someone else take on this ongoing responsibility therefore we were pleasantly surprised to learn that Mark and Tom had decided to run again. We also believe Elaine Brown will be a great addition to the HOA Board because she has broad experience and knowledge of this community having served in many capacities on volunteer committees/boards and she has a pragmatic, no-nonsense approach to leadership. There are sure to be growing pains as BlueStar takes over management of the golf course/restaurant and hospitality services and we believe Mark, Tom and Elaine are the best equipped to deal with this. We bought our first home in Trilogy in 2003 and moved here full-time in 2005 and we can honestly say this is the best the golf course has ever looked, even better than when Trilogy hosted the Skins Game, and we look forward to Trilogy reestablishing itself as the premier retirement community in the Coachella Valley.

As a former Trilogy Board member with three years of service, my husband Mike and I understand the dedication and leadership required to be an effective Board member. We are proud to support the candidacy of Mark Reider, Tom Hansen and Elaine Brown who have each served our community with distinction. Mark, Tom, and Elaine have consistently demonstrated the qualities that make them exceptional leaders: honesty, integrity, patience, empathy, and strong communication and strategic decision-making skills. Together, Tom and Mark played pivotal roles in saving our golf course and restaurant, and Elaine served as President of the TLQS Board for many years. Their vision and commitment to the Trilogy community have been invaluable. They are dedicated to doing what is best for our residents and have consistently shown themselves to be dependable, accountable, and responsive to both the Board and our community members. We are confident in their ability to continue the important work they started, and we fully support their election to the Board.

We have lived in Trilogy nearly 15 years. We could not have predicted or imagined that the first decade of our enjoyment, fun and comraderie with so many great friends at our on site restaurant, and home golf course, would “cease to exist” as integral and essential lifestyle amenities in our community.
These past couple of years, we have 💯 % faced a critical threat to the future of our lifestyle, community, and more importantly to the property values of our largest investment(s) made in our retirement years; funds and income that cannot be replaced at this juncture in our lives, if greatly diminished or lost.
In the midst of this dark storm, our community has been most fortunate to successfully come through the eye of it, with Mark Reider at the helm; providing us with his experience and knowledge in banking and specializing in HOA finance. We have been further fortunate, to benefit from the breadth of knowledge in math, accounting, and finance from Tom Hansen currently on our HOA board, and previously serving on our Finance Committee.
Elaine Brown is now seeking a seat on the Board. She shares a background in finance, management and law enforcement. Currently, she serves as Board President of TLQS, a non-profit corporation started by Shea Homes; recently overseeing its dissolution..
The integrity and commitment of these three Trilogy residents/candidates, is evidenced in their ongoing work and tireless effort in continuing to propel us forward to success & completion of the envisioned “Trilogy Forward” path, restoring our vibrant & thriving community, to one we can all be proud of and enjoy!

Tracy & I are pleased to express our wholehearted support for Mark Reider, Tom Hansen and Elaine Brown to be elected to the TLQMA Board of Directors. We believe they are the right candidates to lead our community. Mark and Tom are returning Board members and Elaine has served the community in multiple capacities including most recently as President of TLQS. I have had the privilege of working with them on the Board and committees and know firsthand how committed they are to Trilogy. They have worked tirelessly on our behalf and I’m thankful they are willing to continue to serve. We wholeheartedly endorse Mark, Tom, and Elaine for the HOA Board. Their proven track record, collaborative spirit, and focus on leading Trilogy forward make them ideal candidates for our Association.
Gary & Tracy Bartlett
As an owner for nearly 18 years and a full time resident for 13 years, I have never seen better HOA Board leadership than with Mark Reider and Tom Hansen. They have led us through the most tremulous period we have ever experienced as a community and their efforts have resulted in a new and improved golf course and a soon to be beautiful new restaurant. We need both of these men to finish the job and ensure we have a solid working relationship with BlueStar as well as continue to keep our community in strong fiscal shape. I also strongly recommend Elaine Brown be elected as well. I worked closely with her on the TLQS Charity Board for 5 plus years and attest that she has the skills, dedication, integrity, and independent thinking that is needed to continue the success of this HOA Board. She knows this community extremely well and will be a very valued addition to the Board.

I am excited to endorse three candidates, Mark Reider, Tom Hansen, and Elaine Brown, who are running for the Trilogy board. All three of these special candidates are extremely qualified and will work tirelessly for this community. They have all served successfully on boards before and have done so commendably.
It's imperative that we elect board members who are knowledgeable about all the existing issues and who possess the enormous energy it takes to complete our future tasks and goals. We still have a lot of work ahead of us to finish on this renovation journey we are going through at Trilogy. I know that these candidates can bring the strong work ethic, the ability to make sound financial decisions, and the skills to communicate those back in a transparent manner. We need a board that can cohesively work together and who is focused on solving issues and providing cost-effective solutions to continuously improve our Trilogy Community.
So, that is why my husband, Lyndon, and I fully support these three candidates and ask you to please vote "YES" for Mark Reider, Tom Hansen, and Elaine Brown, for the new board in 2025.

I proudly endorse Mark Reider and Tom Hansen for re-election and Elaine Brown for the Trilogy La Quinta Board of Directors. Mark and Tom’s consistent leadership has been invaluable, particularly in their efforts to restore the Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta. Their work has transformed it into a revitalized gem of our community, showcasing their dedication to enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
Elaine Brown brings a fresh perspective and an impressive background. Her previous leadership experience makes her a highly qualified addition to the Board. Elaine's commitment to community well-being and her ability to connect with residents reflect her readiness to serve effectively. Her dedication to fostering unity and progress within Trilogy La Quinta is evident, and I am confident that her contributions will positively impact our community.
Their transparent communication and proactive approach have kept us informed and engaged throughout various initiatives. As Mark and Tom seek re-election, I am confident that their continued service, alongside Elaine's fresh insights, will bring innovative solutions to our community's evolving needs.
Together, Mark, Tom, and Elaine embody the qualities our community needs: stability, integrity, and leadership. Their unwavering dedication, proactive efforts, and genuine commitment to Trilogy La Quinta set them apart. With their combined focus on action and progress, they are well-equipped to guide our community forward. I fully support their candidacy and am confident they will continue to make a meaningful difference for all of us.
